Said the nurse. “It’s only a partial fail” she added. Seeing the state of shock on my face she said “you’re not off the run” if that was supposed to be a crumb of comfort.
Well she was only doing her job. I thanked her for her time and left.
Well I did have high blood pressure and my BMI was... well let’s not go there.
Am I really that unfit?.
I had been in the service for three years and this was the first step test I had taken since my initial medical.
I was still suffering the effects of an ample christmas and new year. I don’t walk, jog, run, swim do and weights or any gym work.
I did like riding my bike though.
